This was a really good book and is full of adventure. It took me a while to get into at the start but after that I couldn’t put it down! It was really exciting and I recommend it to other readers.

I really enjoyed this book. I was much better than I thought It would be. I have seen this book at the book shop many times and I have never read it before. it was really creative, imaginative, unique book to read!
So glad you gave this book a chance and enjoyed it . I love the front cover. Do you think encouraged you to read it? Or did it have the opposite effect?
This book is one of the best books I have ever read and I can’t believe that someone so young could write a book so detailed that puts so many images in your head. I think it’s so cleverly written and inspiring but still so dramatic to keep me on the edge of my seat the whole way through.

A gripping children’s novel about a girl who seeks adventure but will be killed if she travels past the forest border. 30 years ago a cruel Governor, Adori, claimed the island called Joya and created a border that no one can pass except himself and his family. This meant Isabella’s mother and brother died because they couldn’t get medicine, but her best friend is clueless, Lupe the Governors daughter, she thinks that her dad is kind to the people of Joya.
