I like Halle through the story there Malamander is seen as a villain until the end when Violet realises the monster is just doing what it needs to survive.

I loved Malamander, especially the plot twists with Boathook Man and Sebastian Eels! Who knew they were working together? It might be called Eerie-on-Sea but this story made it more cheerier than ever. Herbie and Vi are a great detective team figuring out the secret to the Malamander.

This was an action packed and plot twisting book. I couldn’t put it down. Two children Herbie and Violet set out to find Violets parents but they end up finding out a whole lot more. I definitely recommend this book to all children. It was an unforgettable read!
