Thirteen boys, all born at the stroke of midnight on millennium night, as the world moved from the 20th to the 21st century. Now, 13 years later, danger stalks the streets of London. Hunted down by a cult who believe they must be eliminated by their 14th birthday, only one boy remains, unaware that he is the last on the list. Fate has taken him away from the grasp of his pursuers many times, but now the net is closing in.
A thrilling adventure mystery which will appeal to readers of the Cherub series, written by an author who is as much of a mystery as his villains.
‘It is impossible to put the book down!’:
I like how there was lots of deaths. It was a good setting and the first chapter enticed me to read more. The book cover was simple but affective.
This book is very fast moving and hard to put down. It contains some funny parts and some grim parts including death. 4.5*
My favourite part about this book is the characters imagination and anticipation they have. I particularly enjoy the end! 4*
I like this book a lot because it has a lot of action and adventure. There is a boy called Adam who was born at 12:00 in 2000, the first day. A crazy cult hate all children born on this night, and there are 13 boys. They all must be killed before the age of 14. But there is one boy left, Adam. The night he was born he thankfully escaped, but it wasn’t the same for his mother; she was murdered. Alone, without his real parents, will Adam survive? 5*
I think it was the best book I have ever read. I think this because it is adventerous, mysterious. I couldn’t put it down. I love how Adam is the 13th child born on the millenium at midnight and all 13 children have to be killed for Coron to control the world. This is the best thriller I have ever read. 5*
