Thirteen boys, all born at the stroke of midnight on millennium night, as the world moved from the 20th to the 21st century. Now, 13 years later, danger stalks the streets of London. Hunted down by a cult who believe they must be eliminated by their 14th birthday, only one boy remains, unaware that he is the last on the list. Fate has taken him away from the grasp of his pursuers many times, but now the net is closing in.
A thrilling adventure mystery which will appeal to readers of the Cherub series, written by an author who is as much of a mystery as his villains.
‘It is impossible to put the book down!’:
I hated this book, I was not gripped and it had no plot especialy as it was predictable
It was great because it was a little confusing at first, but it gradually made more sense. Also, it was very different to other books I have read as it was quite tense, horrific and relieving by the end of the book. 5*
Wow! This book was amazing, one of the best I’ve read in a long time. The plot is full of mystery action and life threatening situations. It’s a gripping story full of adventure. I have used this phrase many times but never quite meant it, I literally couldn’t stop reading this book. I was up till 11:30 reading (which resulted to finishing it in 2 days!) I really badly want to read the sequel. Lucky for me, this is the type of books I read, like the ‘Gone’ series and ‘Cherub’. I have really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it to anyone. I even got my brother to read and enjoy it, and he HATES reading so thats really saying the book is amazing if my brother liked it!
I found it interesting how two points of view were given then merged. The storyline was extremely fascinating.
If you enjoyed Thirteen then try Tom Hoyle’s next book ‘Spiders’, which is available now.
