I was told this book was boring but I actually found it quite enjoyable. At first I though it was more of a boy book and o guess it is really but I still liked it and I’m sure others did too.
This is always keeping you in tension and uses narrative hooks to make you want to read on.
I really enjoyed this book and found it to be very interesting. I like how it was set out and I loved how you learn more about the characters as you read on.
I am still reading this book but i am really enjoying it because it is a mystery and what happens in it is not what i thought would happen. i also like the fact that the captains are completely different for example: one is really kind and takes the young boy with the box in whereas the other captain is mean and he threw the same boy overboard.
At the start he is travelling around the world and I like how the author has made you want to know what the creepy boy is holding. I won’t tell you the ending!! 5*
