My name is Silas Orr. I am a pyrate’s boy for the infamous Captain Harkin. Our ship the Tenacity is the most feared on the seven seas. Yesterday we found a boy in the water, almost drowned. Someone left the boy in the water to die; someone who will stop at nothing to get his treasure back.
If you find this note, you’ll know danger has come for us. Save us all.
Silas.
I thought Pyrates Boy had a good story behind it and character such as Toombi that in a way I could say were inspirational.
I definitely found the beginning of the book easier to read though because at the end I found that to many things were going on at the same time. Overall I think this book is a good book.
I Think the opening is very good and detailed
I just loved the way the whole book was a big adventure. It had danger and excitement the whole way through. 5*
There were many great things about this book and it started in a really good way. At the start Silas Orr finds a boy called James floating around in the sea connected to a chained box. The box is really precious and one night when James is asleep, Silas takes the box and finds out what is inside. ******! Silas asks James about the ****** and then sends him off to be safe. Silas makes a promise that he’ll deliver the ****** to where James wants them to be. This is a new mission for Silas and his crew but will they do it or not…
Thank you for your review Heather and the cliff hanger ending. I have had to block out part of your review as I didn’t want people who had not finished Pyrate’s Boy to find out what was in the box!
Great book. You find some unexpected things happen quite quickly. You see characters mentioned earlier but not necessarily where you would expect it
