I think that Moon Bear is a happy but sad book. I also think that girls could enjoy this book more than boys.I also think that the ending was really happy. I think that this book should win.
Moon Bear is a really moving book that has inspired me to love an animal no matter what it is. I loved the book because it makes you sit on the edge of your seat waiting for what is about to happen. That is why I woulod like Gill Lewis` book to win the Bolton Book Awards.
A heart warming tale full of caution and sorrow about the bond between a homesick boy and an ill cub whom he wants to save.
A tale full of hardships that keeps you hanging on every word. The message is hidden within the book to protect those you care for and preserve the natural enviroment. Never give up.

This was a brilliant book. I read it in 2 days it was that good.It is about a boy called Tam who is sent to work at a bear farm and when he meets a small bear cub their bond is unbreakable.
