How would YOU survive?
A nightmare world. The banks have crashed. Money is worthless. There is the constant threat of attack by armed robbers.
Survival means escaping through the Channel Tunnel – but what waits on the other side?
“A fast-moving, incredibly exciting read” – Malorie Blackman
The book ‘After Tomorrow’ was quite a page turner. Whilst reading I was very eager to rush ahead. 4 STARS ****
This is my favourite of the books in the set for the award. It is set in a near-future world where the banks have crashed and nothing is certain. It is a desperate battle for survival in a world of people with nothing. But when the family have to move to France, they lose the small amount they managed to save. This is a wonderful twisting, turning and realistic adventure.
Brilliant story – brilliant storyline. Totally enjoyable throughout.
Within the story, people of all ages can relate to a certain character (hence meaning it is a book for all to read). In my opinion, the book is almost half reality and half fantasy, as I was initially shocked to my surprise about the fact that there was a global crisis it set the scene superbly and basically set up the well written and thought through book. There is almost a loop with in the circle which fantastically joins the distinctive beginnings and ends, and when I reached the loop, there was an “aahhhh” moment. Not spoiling the storyline for those who are willing to read, it is not all that you expect, as like below, there are several twists and turns which enhance the inclining nature of the book.
Practically faultless,
a well deserved 5*!

This book was so amazing. I was full of emotions and felt so sad, happy and angry at lots of different places> I hope she writes a sequel
