Species: Clownfish (Daddicus fishibum)
Habitat: The aquarium
Food: Fish flakes/cheeseburgers
Special notes:After Dad’s funeral, I thought I’d never see him again. But when I visited the aquarium, there he was-only, he’d turned into a clownfish!
I don’t think Mum’s ready to hear the news just yet.
So for now, it’ll have to be my secret…

A very good book. At times funny but also quite sad. It wasn’t too hard to read either. I think the plot is unusual but in a good way. I particularly like the character Violet as the way she changes is quite interesting as she stars being horrible to Dak and then becomes nicer.

I liked how the campaign to keep the aquarium open happened. I also thought it was really sad when he lost his dad foreve rand how his mum was ill. The funny part was when Violet had the different voices. I liked the bond between father and son.

Very good book and a good book to read quickly. It was quite emotional when Dak’s dad passed away from a disease. The book was truly touching and gripping my heart. The book took a stunning transition with Dak’s father transforming into a fish and he and his niece worked together to make sure the aquarium didn’t close down. Recommend this to anyone who loves an emotional story with a twist.

I really like it because there is a twist when his dad dies and he turns into a clownfish and the son has to save the aquarium.

Clownfish was quite a humorous book as one minute his dad was dead and then next minute he was a fish. The book tells the story of a boy who after his dad died he tries to save the local aquarium as his dad is a fish in the aquarium – his dad is a clownfish.
