I found this book very exciting as it kept you on the edge. It is super sad and makes up for it. I loved this book from the first word on the first page because it is so gripping and impossible to put down.
Thank you! I always love stories that keep you on the edge of your seat. So happy you found it impossible to put down. It’s what every author wants to hear!
At first I felt it was a bit repetitive but as I got further, I realised the repetitiveness was good and I liked how it was somewhat written in slang so it might be easier for some people to understand. I loved the description but I have one question: What era was it based in? If someone could tell me it would be greatly appreciated! 😉
Hello! In my mind the book was set in the 1950’s but I didn’t want the reader to know exactly when it took place. I wanted the reader to immerse themselves in Twister’s world, so that they felt like they were there too. Thank you for reading the book!

this book has made me emotional by loosing her parents, however, this book has shown me to be brave and Bright no matter what, even if you’re going through a harsh life. I can’t wait to read the rest of the book. I would rate this 5 stars. What a great book.
Hello Haleemah! Exploring the world and nature is always a good thing. And to remain bright and brave no matter what is such a brilliant message to pull out of the book. Thank you for reading it and I hope you enjoy the rest of it!
I think that this book is good. I also think that twister is very brave and resilient as there are lots of unfortunate things that happen to her(like her dad is missing and her dog dies)
