The living meet the dead in a race against time in this spookily funny story.
When Jake opens a strange box containing a severed finger, he accidentally summons a grim reaper to drag him to the Eternal Void and now he’s running for his life! But luckily Jake isn’t alone – he can see and speak to ghosts.
Jake and his deadly gang (well dead, at least) Stiffkey, Cora, and Zorro the ghost fox – have one mission: find the Embassy of the Dead and seek protection. But the Embassy has troubles of its own and may not be the safe haven Jake is hoping for . . .
Perfect for fans of Skulduggery Pleasant and Who Let the Gods Out.

This book was exciting with lots of mystery. There were parts that were hard to understand as the characters were passing the dead finger too many times near the end. The reaper that tried to drag Jake into the eternal void made me nervous just reading the book. When, at the end someone from the Embassy reveals that he is trying to reunite the finger with its body, it is most terrifying. I like that at the end it says that the Embassy has called. This makes you want more

I loved the book Embassy of the Dead, because it’s interesting. My favorite character was Cora, she is a unique child and has a curious mind, she is always positive about things. My favorite part was when Jake got the package and there was a finger that was deceased. I think other people will enjoy it and will want to read on.
