A really nice book. A bit scary though at times when you didn’t know what was going to happen! Would like a sequel to come out about him achieving his actual dream. Well done! 4 Stars
This book was good. My favourite part is when Budi found his uncle. Thank you for putting this in the book awards. 4 Stars
I am almost finished with this book and I am enjoying it so much. I spend hours at night reading it and I really want to know how it ends. It’s hook keeps you locked for so long, you never want to put it down.
I loved this book because even though it was about football the main subject in the book was living in poverty and fear and what it is like to be forced to go to work and the age of 12 and being beaten if you don’t work fast enough. Kick is a gripping story and I couldn’t stop reading. I can’t wait for his next book.
