How do you catch a killer when you canÆt move and you have no voice
I have no secrets of my own. I canÆt do anything without someone knowing about it. I can see, though, and I can hear, and sometimes people forget that. Sometimes people talk about me as if IÆm not there. I hate that. And sometimes people tell me their secrets. Dan did. And I canÆt tell anyone. I wish I could do something.
GemmaÆs life is in danger in this gripping mystery from Penny Joelson.

I loved this story because it was written from the perspective of Jemma, who can’t talk, so there is even more description of how she is feeling and what she wants to say. I love how the family is very dysfunctional because it means there is lots of stories all rolled into one to create a big mystery. It is gripping and somewhat funny and I like the storyline and the way she puts it across.
I really enjoyed the book, and I felt I was really there. I like that you could tell what Gemma was thinking but no one else could.I would of liked it if it had emphasised how sad she was when Sara went missing because I think it was a bit vague in that part, but apart from that it was very descriptive.
I love this book so much.
I enjoyed it because it grips you and you just want to read it more and more.
It makes you feel sorry for Jemma.
This book was really thrilling and when I had finished it I just wanted more.
This book is in my top 2 (between this and polar bear explores club)
This book is quite depressing but in a good kind of way. It also keeps you hanging on the edge with a murder story, a girl who can’t move or talk and her carer who may be in deep danger.
