JessicaÆs Ghostáby Andrew Norris
A ghost story with a difference. Francis has never had a friend like Jessica who makes him feel able to be himself. Jessica has never had a friend like Francis û not only because he makes her laugh but because he is the only person who can see her! With themes of being different and fitting in JessicaÆs Ghost is a funny and moving story which ties in beautifully with the æReading WellÆ initiative in BoltonÆs libraries
I loved this book as it was very intense.
I liked the character of Jessica because when you mention her history she disappears. The story is about a boy called Francis who gets bullied about his love for fashion. He then meets a ghost called Jessica, through the book they meet a girl called Andi and a boy called Roland; all three of them can see Jessica. Jessica needs to find out why she keeps going back to the hospital every night. Andrew Norris did a good job of telling the story, it tells a story of friendship. This book is an amazing read, I give a 9.5/10
I love your review, it gives a great sense of the story without any spoilers.

It was a good book but I think you need to be quite old to understand everything that is going on. I liked the characters and the way the author brought them to life. However I thought there were too many. The plot could have some improvements because it was just the same over and over again. Apart from that I give it a 3/5.
I loved Jessica’s Ghost. It was very unexpected and was full of surprises. It made you never want to put down the book. The characters were very unique as they were all different to other people such as Jessica was a ghost, Francis was obsessed with fashion, Andy was a tom boy who loved sport and finally Roland was very obese. I would give Jessica’s Ghost 10/10
A story filled with suspense, drama and a hint of horror which is basically what you want in a book. A book that’s unique and different, that’s what this book has to offer. 3.5/5
I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend it. After every page it drew me in to read the next chapter. The descriptions were so good I could imagine what was going on in my head so clearly. A fantastic read! 5/5
