JessicaÆs Ghostáby Andrew Norris
A ghost story with a difference. Francis has never had a friend like Jessica who makes him feel able to be himself. Jessica has never had a friend like Francis û not only because he makes her laugh but because he is the only person who can see her! With themes of being different and fitting in JessicaÆs Ghost is a funny and moving story which ties in beautifully with the æReading WellÆ initiative in BoltonÆs libraries
I would certainly turn back time to read it over again. Filled with exciting twists and suspense . I would recommend to everyone!!! ‘Dead’ good!!

I really enjoyed this book because I thought it was quite different to read something that has a ghost in but it isn’t scary. I instead, Jessica is there to help people improve their lives. I loved reading something that was more about friendship and accepting life than anything else. Although there was still suspense and I couldn’t put the book down.

Jessica’s Ghost is a definite must read book. It’s about a boy called Francis and a ghost called Jessica. Francis likes to make clothes but he needs someone to model them, so he uses Jessica. This book is filled with much more interesting stories and I definitely think that this deserves to be nominated for the Bolton Children’s Fiction Awards 2017

Jessica’s Ghost was very creative and had good descriptions of the character sand places so I could imagine everything very easily. The book made you feel like you would want to see and meet Jessica. It also surprised me why each of the characters could see her and what Jessica was meant to do for them all.

I adore this book, I have read it with both my book groups who have both thoroughly enjoyed it. I think this book has entered my top 10 reads. The themes this book covers are so up-to-date in young people and I think it will support any young people (and adults) who suffer with mental health issues. The suspense this story creates is fantastic. Thank you to Andrew Norriss for writing such a lovely novel.
