Time Travelling with a Hamsteráby Ross Welford
Al Chaudhury gets a letter from his deceased Dad on his thirteenth birthday. He discovers his fatherÆs invention, a time travelling machine. Could the laptop and the tin tub really offer him the chance to travel back to 1984 to alter events and save his DadÆs life?
This astonishing and original novel will make you laugh, cry and wonder û and wish you could turn back time to start reading it all over again!
This book was a great Sci-Fi with lots of adventures. You could never tell what was going to happen next. I didn’t want to put it down! I liked how Al was always trying to save his Dad from death.
This was a definite 5/5 for me!
When you are reading this book you feel like you’re actually time travelling with Al and his hamster!
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves adventures. In my opinion I would recommend this book to 9-13 year olds.
I could really relate to ‘Time Travelling with a Hamster’ for personal reasons. I thought I only liked to read Michael Morpurgo books but after I read this book it left me wanting more. I thought that the plot was amazing! I would recommend this book to fellow Michael Morpurgo lovers. I would rate this book 5/5.
I think that the story was really interesting and it shows how much you should appreciate what you have and not try and change it for the better. The only problem with the story is that it was quite difficult to understand the parallel universe and the Doppleganger rule. I would recommend it to people who enjoy science.
A great Sci-Fi book, mixed with natures most cutest animal a HAMSTER! When reading it you feel like you’re in the future where time machines existed and where hovercrafts where a thing of the past. I just wonder if there’s going to be a sequel…
I’d like a sequel too. The same author, Ross Welford has a new book out called ‘What not to do if you turn Invisible’. I’ve not read it yet but can’t wait.

This book is so amazing! It really confused me but it made me want to read more. I recommend this book to people who like to get confused and wonder about a parallel universe. I don’t usually like books like this but I love this one!
