Time Travelling with a Hamsteráby Ross Welford
Al Chaudhury gets a letter from his deceased Dad on his thirteenth birthday. He discovers his fatherÆs invention, a time travelling machine. Could the laptop and the tin tub really offer him the chance to travel back to 1984 to alter events and save his DadÆs life?
This astonishing and original novel will make you laugh, cry and wonder û and wish you could turn back time to start reading it all over again!
I have really enjoyed time travelling with a hamster because for me it was a page turner and in my mind I just kept thinking that I would stop at the next chapter or page… I just couldn’t stop. The suspense just kept flowing in which really makes time fly. I think my favourite part of the book was when Al gets a secret and mysterious letter from his dead father
I think this book was very interesting and unusual, as it probably changed my perspective of the theory of relativity and time travel itself. The book had lots of interesting characters, some who were mean, others nice. My favourite part was probably when Carly isn’t his step sister, just when he came back from the 1980’s. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I’m glad I read it, as it has an interesting plot and finish!
I think this book was a good read. I felt so happy about when he went back to rescue his dad. When he found the letter I thought what is going to happen next? It for me was a very deep book and I for that I rate this book 5/5
This story is one of the best books I have ever read. It has a beautiful moral to it; to love the life you live.Al is a very noble and believable character. What I love about this story is that the story weaves together so well and everything is believable. 5 stars
