It sounded like a respectable and worthy enough death for an explorer – tumbling from an ice bridge to be impaled upon a mammoth tusk – but Stella really, really didn’t want that to happen, just the same.
When Stella and three other junior explorers get separated from their expedition, can they cross the frozen wilderness and live to tell the tale?

This is one of the best books I have read in a long time. Stella reminds me of myself most of the time.

I’m sorry, wrong book
I absolutely loved this book. It’s in my top three.
I quite liked Alice’s character because I have quite a vivid imagination, and quite like writing different stories
The story was phenomenal;I thoroughly enjoyed it!The book was a thrilling page-turner read and I felt my fingers couldn’t move fast enough to turn the page.At first I felt that the book was nothing more that a fantasy with magical characters very unrealistic as I do not find fantasy as appealing as other genre’s but when I read it ,it was a pleasant surprise.I totally recommend this book to everyone who enjoys adventure, fantasy with a touch of humour.
Thanks so much for your lovely review, Tanith! I’m so happy to hear that you enjoyed the book, especially if you’re not usually that keen on fantasy.
This book was a brilliant book, I couldn’t put it down. Stella was such an inspiring character and the descriptions were so vivid and imaginative, it felt almost real. I rate this book 5/5!
I would definitely recommend this book.
