The living meet the dead in a race against time in this spookily funny story.
When Jake opens a strange box containing a severed finger, he accidentally summons a grim reaper to drag him to the Eternal Void and now he’s running for his life! But luckily Jake isn’t alone – he can see and speak to ghosts.
Jake and his deadly gang (well dead, at least) Stiffkey, Cora, and Zorro the ghost fox – have one mission: find the Embassy of the Dead and seek protection. But the Embassy has troubles of its own and may not be the safe haven Jake is hoping for . . .
Perfect for fans of Skulduggery Pleasant and Who Let the Gods Out.

I loved this book but I just wish the excitement would have kicked in sooner. My favourite character is Cora as she has an extremely feisty attitude. The fox I think is just absolutely adorable. I would give it four stars if the danger and mystery had started sooner. 3 Stars
I think it was a good plot line but it could have been a bit more descriptive especially in the part when Jake goes to the afterworld.
I found this book perfect from the start. I couldn’t put it down. My favourite part was where they meet Cora.as from then on it got better still. I truly loved this book. 5 STARS AND MORE!

I found this book very funny. It’s a comical adventure to dive into. The author has thought up a great story and written it well. I would recommended this book to people who want an adventure with a bit of laughter.
