Silas Orr is many things. He was a slave, is a brother, now a runaway but on ‘Tenacity’he is just ‘boy.’
He is a pyrate’s boy. He as a complicated story, so lets see how this happened. Silas is on the ship but wants to ‘escape.’ The pyrates offer him a ‘choice.’
– Row a boat and hope to reach land
– Become a cabin boy
Silas becomes a pyrate and when he discovers a boy and a box, life becomes terrible for him. 5*
IN THIS BOOK THERE ARE MANY GOOD POINTS. I LOVE ALL THE DESCRIPTION THROUGHOUT THE BOOK AND HOW EASY IT WAS TO PUT YOURSELF IN THEIR SHOES. I DID FIND THAT THE END WAS VERY TOUCHING.
I didn’t understand what ship the boy was talking about at first but I like the boy’s backstory and the maps at the start of the book.
This book was packed with adventure. At first I didn’t really like it, but it got much better as the story went on. I really enjoyed this book as several problems were thrown at the main characters, therefore keeping the story interesting.
I think this book is ok but i would like a bit more excitement and the book seemed to go on about the boy with the chained box. I would rate this book 3 stars.
