The Jamie Drake Equation by Christopher Edge
A story about families, space and the Universe. JamieÆs Dad is an astronaut, transmitting to Earth from the NASA International Space Station. When visiting his local Observatory, Jamie picks up a strange signal on his phone û could it be evidence of alien life?
When his DadÆs mission goes catastrophically wrong, Jamie holds a secret which just *might* get him back to Earth.
This is a perfect blend of story-telling, science and mankindÆs quest to æboldly go where no one has gone before.Æ
I thought this book was quite good but I didn’t find it that interesting because i am not really a fan of sci fi. I thought the plot was quite good but I think it could have been a bit longer and have a twist at the end because the ending was a bit predictable. I would recommend this to anyone who likes sci fi.
Its a heart warming story about a boy, Jamie, who accidentally downloads an alien onto his phone when he tries to charge it. Although he seems to have it all Jamie wishes that his dad had a normal job and that he wasn’t an astronaut.
Jamie Drake Equation is one of the most epic books I’ve read in a long time. The combination of Sci-Fi and the sort of reality it presents is really good. I especially loved it because I myself love space so this was the perfect book for me. I would rate this book a 10/10 for almost every category about this book.
So glad you enjoyed it. I’m sure you would like another book by Christopher Edge – The Many Worlds of Albie Bright
Jamie Drake is an interesting character as one minute he misses his dad who is up in space and the next he is angry as all he wants is to see his dad and do normal things with him instead of having to Face Time him.
An amazing book about how we could not be alone in this HUGE universe! It had an amazing plot about his family splitting up, but definitely too short
