The Jamie Drake Equation by Christopher Edge
A story about families, space and the Universe. JamieÆs Dad is an astronaut, transmitting to Earth from the NASA International Space Station. When visiting his local Observatory, Jamie picks up a strange signal on his phone û could it be evidence of alien life?
When his DadÆs mission goes catastrophically wrong, Jamie holds a secret which just *might* get him back to Earth.
This is a perfect blend of story-telling, science and mankindÆs quest to æboldly go where no one has gone before.Æ
The mood changes dramatically throughout this book, with happiness, sorrow, guilt and suspense. The story follows Jamie Drake, a boy whos father is an astronaut currently in space to launch prototypes to find another world in the vast vacuum of space. Jamie discovers a corporation trying to find aliens, and soon after peculiar things start happening. I enjoyed this book, although i wished it was slightly longer.
An amazing book , not only filled with enigmatic science equations but also with sentimentality that brought a tear to my eye. Jamie Drake , a boy who just wanted to live a normal life and spend time with his family, has an incredibly famous astronaut as his dad. As Jamie’s father ventures into the depths of space, read how Jamie uncovers the truth about the light…..
This book was amazing. Full of action suspense and sadness, this book has got it all and more! My favourite bit in the book was when Jamie discovers the laboratory up on Beacon Hills, the suspense when a pistol was on his back and someone was behind him. But one improvement is that the author concentrated on one subject a lot.

This book is an amazing tale about a boy with an alien on his phone! With the alien’s help, can he save his dad before it’s too late?
Perfect for anyone who believes we’re not alone in this universe.

Great last line Evan. Do you believe?
It is about how Jamie discovers L.O.G.S and finds out about aliens and then trying to save his dad. I liked this book but it is too short.

I totally agree that it is too short.
